McQueen bows out

So today was supposed to just another thursday, I was doing some final research for one of my bridal articles on my Examiner page when I stumbled across the sad news about Lee McQueen's unexpected death. Today the fashion world has lost a cornerstone of innovative, futuristic fashion. McQueen's designs always stood out for being extremely different, unusual and unexpected. The 40 year old was found dead in his London apartment this morning and the apparent cause of death is reported to be suicide. His avant garde designs placed him in a league above the rest, never afraid to go beyond the normal standards of stylish garments. The McQueen collection was bursting full of fresh ideas and haute couture designs that heavily influenced the bridal fashion scene. He will be sorely missed.

Love and prayers to his family at this time.
